FAQs / Help

Is it real ice?

Windsor on Ice prides itself on providing a real ice surface on which to skate on.

If I supply my own boots is it cheaper?

Whilst you are more than welcome to use your own boots, the price per ticket will remain the same.

If the rink is not busy are you strict on times?

No, we generally let people skate through to the next session, but this is always down to the discretion of the Rink Manager.  The best sessions to skate are early and late afternoons.

If I do not like skating can I get my money back?

No, but the final say will be at the discretion of the Rink Manager.

Once on the Ice, can we come off?

Yes, buy only into the Skates Off area.

How do I use my e-tickets?

You will be emailed an order confirmation that will include your unique Booking Reference Number and a barcode that also contains this number.

You may make a note of this number and take with you when you visit the attraction in place of a ticket, although we suggest printing out the email as this will contain a barcode which will grant you quicker access.

What is the minimum age of a child allowed on the ice?

Outside of a Tiny Tuesday session, the minimum age of a child allowed on the ice is four years of age.  Children under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult.

I can't skate but have two young children. What if I can't manage?

You can hire Ice Guides online, but if you turn up on the day and ask we cannot guarantee who is available.  We also have Ice Marshalls on the ice at all times, who will assist if help is needed.
